Senior Test Engineer

Description & Responsibilities

• Tests to support manufacturing, reliability and development
• Create the data management tools and structure for automatic measurement, data acquisition, and analysis
• Procurement and set up production test facilities
• Development of test methods and assessment of reproducibility and repeatability
• Definition of test accuracy maintenance methods
• Creation of a database and data management tools
• Automation of test equipment stations
• Generation of performance statistics and screening methods
• Position reports to VP Operations
• Will join dynamic team in a fast growing post-IPO environment

Skills

• Intimate knowledge of photonics test equipment
• Working knowledge of Labview and Filemaker pro or equivalent
• Experience in instrument control
• Familiarity with the specific operational principles of passive and active photonics devices and fiber lasers
• Familiarity with electrostatic discharge prevention procedures
• Self motivated, dynamics, team player, attention to details, etc…

Education: Master degree in electrical engineering, engineering physics or equivalent

Experience: 10 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
