Supply Management Senior Manager

Description & Responsibilities:

• Strategic sourcing leadership / implementation
• Experience in product specific forecasting in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistic concepts
• Ability to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and convey the benefits to the organization
• Experience in implementing Planning/Forecasting system
• Knowledge of economic theories of supply and demand
• Lead-time set-up / reduction
• Kan Ban set-up / support
• Coordinate inbound and internal pre-production, logistics and manage inventory
• Manage supplier performance/relationships/issues
• Implement processes, policies, and procedures to support the purchasing process
• Oversight to Purchasing
• Commodity Management
• Maintain 1st/2nd Source Strategic Partnerships (Approved Supplier List)
• Increase supply base performance
• Act as liaison between suppliers, design, and manufacturing
• Maintain Budget
• Excellent analytical abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent Management and Leadership skills
• Top Communicator
• Ability to work in fast-paced engineering environment
• Flexible working hours
• Position reports to the Director of Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing

Education: Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred in Business Administration & Sourcing

Experience: 10 years
