BMW ORACLE Racing Video Highlights Racer's Edge® Laser Wind Sensor

Dr. Beth Dakin, Technical Director at Catch the Wind, Inc., briefly demonstrates how the Racer's Edge® laser wind sensor works and can quickly display precise wind data from up to 1000m away. This device is the world's first hand-held laser wind sensor and will give yacht racing teams the competitive advantage of knowing the true wind ahead of their current position on the racecourse.
Catch the Wind, Inc. is an official supplier of BMW ORACLE racing for the 33rd America's Cup race and this video also includes a brief interview and testimonial from the racing team's meteorologist, Chris Bedford.
