Catch the Wind Strengthens Executive Management Team

Catch the Wind Ltd. (TSX-V: CTW.S) Catch the Wind today announced it has strengthened its management team with two key senior level appointments. Claudia M. Jaques has been named Vice President and General Counsel, and Daniel Lacroix has been named Vice President of Manufacturing.

expertise will greatly enhance the Company’s growth prospects as we continue
to develop and market the Vindicator™ Laser Wind Sensor.”

Ms. Jaques joins the Company with more than 13 years of corporate securities experience. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Jaques was Associate General Counsel, Corporate Securities at the Federal Home Loan Mortgage
Corporation in McLean, Virginia, where she provided securities support on a number of corporate activities. Prior to that, she was Senior Associate, Corporate & Securities, at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. in Reston, Virginia. In this position, Ms. Jaques was the lead attorney for a portfolio of firm clients, representing high-technology clients on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Masters of Arts in International Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University (Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan. Ms. Jaques is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association.

The Company’s Board of Directors approved a stock option grant for Ms. Jaques, for 100,000 shares at an exercise price of C$1.30 on October 28, 2008.

Mr. Lacroix will assume his new position effective January 2, 2009, and
has been affiliated with the Company since August, 2008. He has more than
20 years of industry experience in senior executive roles and comes to Catch
the Wind from IRphotonics Inc., where he was responsible for the direction of
plant operations, including manufacturing, purchasing, human resources, and
production engineering. Prior to that, Mr. Lacroix held senior executive
positions for a number of manufacturing companies and also worked as a
management consultant, advising his client companies on strategies to improve
sales and profit. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and
Operations from École des Hautes Études Commerciales, and a Bachelor of
Industrial Design from the Université de Montréal. He is also a member of the
Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines du Québec.

Mr. Lacroix was issued a stock option grant consisting of 100,000 shares
at an exercise price of C$1.30, which the Board approved on September 24,
2008.
