CTW Reports First Quarter 2010 Financial Results

Catch the Wind Ltd. (TSX-V: CTW), developer and manufacturer of the Vindicator® laser wind sensor (LWS) and other sensor products, today reported its financial results for the three-month period ended March 31, 2010. All figures are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
“Our first quarter efforts were concentrated on solidifying the foundation of the Company for accelerated growth, primarily for the commercialization of our laser-wind sensing technology,” said Phil Rogers, President and CEO of Catch the Wind.

The forum, hosted by National Bank Financial Inc., will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Club & Conference Centre. Catch the Wind will be joined by multiple other presenting companies, all working to make improvements in the renewable energy sector.

Catch the Wind Ltd. (TSX-V: CTW) today announced an update to the proposed private placement offering that was announced on February 23, 2010 under an agreement between the Company and a syndicate of agents led by National Bank Financial and Dundee Securities Corporation and including Mackie Research Capital (the “Agents”). Under the terms of the offering, the Agents will sell, on a best efforts private placement basis, units of the Company priced at C$2.00 per unit. The private placement offering is expected to generate minimum gross proceeds of C$5 million.

Results demonstrate that turbine control delivers increased energy output
Catch the Wind Ltd. (TSX-V: CTW), developer and manufacturer of the Vindicator® laser wind sensor (LWS) and other sensor products, announced today that the Wind Energy Institute of Canada (WEICan), Canada’s leading research institute for wind energy systems, has completed its final performance testing of a prototype of the Company’s Vindicator® laser wind sensor (LWS). The Phase II test results demonstrated that the Vindicator® LWS was able to successfully control the wind turbine rotor direction in alignment with the oncoming wind for increased energy output. Phase I test results were reported on October 21, 2008.
