Lab Supervisor – Laser Wind Sensor

Lab Supervisor is responsible for manufacturing Laser Wind Sensors and electro-optic systems in a safe and professional manner.

Essential Job Duties

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.
• Manage the day to day operations of the system integration and test lab.
• Maintain quality system files and training certification.
• Inspect and maintain testing Equipment to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Data entry into the Production Planning Module computer program.
• Prepare monthly efficiency reports for management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Must have proficiency using web based software applications.
• Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours. Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to meet customers’ needs and management expectations.
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of personalities and background.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varied temperatures ranging from 10 to 100 degrees
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment

Desired Previous Experience

• Bachelors of Engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience.
• Previous use and maintenance of optical and electronic testing equipment.
• 3 years experience working with electro-optic systems.
