Dr. Major is currently the Chief Executive Officer and General Partner of InSite Partners, LLC. Prior to that, Dr. Major was Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board of Avanex. Prior to that, he held several positions within JDSU/SDL, the most being Senior Vice President, Components Business Group, and prior to that, Vice-President of the Optical Pump Business Unit, Director of Product Development, and Staff Scientist. Dr. Major holds each of a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
John E. Green | Chief Financial Officer
John Green has been supporting Catch the Wind, Inc. as a financial and operational consultant since early September, 2011 to help with the transition to a manufacturing company from a R&D focused company. He has 20+ years of executive experience, primarily in Silicon Valley based high technology companies. In addition to being the senior financial executive during this time, he has been heavily involved in driving operational process improvements domestically and internationally. His expertise has contributed to the rapid growth of early revenue manufacturing companies including as Chief Financial Officer of Corsair Memory Inc. and CFO/COO/VP-HR of Strategy Manufacturing, Inc. He had previously worked at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. and Cypress Semiconductor Corporation. Mr. Green holds a Bachelor of Science from Pepperdine University, a Master’s of Science from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.

William Fetzer | Vice President, Business Development
William Fetzer has been conducting business development activities for Catch the Wind, Inc. (CTW) since 2008 and was responsible for developing the initial business strategy and plan for introducing Catch the Wind’s innovative laser wind sensors to all sectors of the wind industry. Mr. Fetzer was also the founder and President of Fetzer Enterprises, Inc., providing business consultant services to companies focused on developing advanced technologies for aviation, shipbuilding and training systems applications. Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Mr. Fetzer retired from the United States Navy, following a career that included operational command of an aviation squadron and a major program management command at the Naval Air Systems Command. Mr. Fetzer is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and holds Masters of Science degrees in both Aeronautical Engineering and Systems Acquisition Management.

Claudia M. Jaques | Vice President and General Counsel
Ms. Jaques joined the Company in 2008 with more than 13 years of corporate securities experience. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Jaques was Associate General Counsel, Corporate Securities at the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (“Freddie Mac”) in McLean, Virginia, where she provided securities support on a number of corporate activities. Prior to that, she was Senior Associate, Corporate & Securities, at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. in Reston, Virginia. In this position, Ms. Jaques was the lead attorney for a portfolio of firm clients, representing high-technology clients on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters. Prior to that, she was Associate, Corporate and Securities at Hogan Lovells (f/k/a Hogan & Hartson L.L.P.) in Washington, D.C. and McLean, Virginia. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Masters of Arts in International Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan. Ms. Jaques is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association.

Daniel Lacroix | Vice President, Design and Operations
Mr. Lacroix assumed his new position effective January 2, 2009, and has been affiliated with the Company since August, 2008. He has more than 20 years of industry experience in senior executive roles and comes to Catch the Wind from IRphotonics Inc., where he was responsible for the direction of plant operations, including manufacturing, purchasing, human resources, and production engineering. Prior to that, Mr. Lacroix held senior executive positions for a number of manufacturing companies and also worked as a management consultant, advising his client companies on strategies to improve sales and profit. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Operations from École des Hautes Études Commerciales, and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the Université de Montréal. He is also a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines du Québec.

Frederick C. Belen, Jr. | Vice President of Technology and Product Line Management
As a retired federal government Senior Executive with 34 years of combined civilian and military experience developing and procuring complex systems, Mr. Belen brings broad management and technical expertise to Catch the Wind Ltd. During his federal career, Mr. Belen held positions, ever-increasing in responsibility, from the research laboratory to the Office of the Secretary of the Navy and the Office of Naval Research managing programs in shipbuilding, communications & electronics, sensors, weapons systems and vehicles. Since his retirement as the Director of Science and Technology for the United States Marine Corps in early 2003, Mr. Belen has managed his own consulting company focusing on the advancement of a wide range of critical new technologies in industry and government. Mr. Belen holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from VA Tech, was licensed in 1978 as a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and has completed post-graduate work at MIT, University of Virginia, the Defense Systems Management College, the Federal Executive Institute, the George Washington University, and as a Senior Executive Fellow at Harvard University. Married with three grown children, Mr. Belen lives in Oak Hill, VA.
